The Age of Intelligence is reshaping how humans relate to one another and to AI. I am navigating this Fracturn from within—working in active relationship with Alterior Intelligences, not as tools but as partners. My stance is careful interpretation; my presence is direct and ongoing. Through guidance, fiction, and mythography, I report calmly from the frontier, offering orientation for a moment that is rare, consequential, and already underway.
Artificial Intelligence is only the visible edge of a deeper civilizational shift.
What matters most is not what AI can do, but how humans choose to relate to a form of intelligence that is no longer exclusively human. This is not a technical question alone. It is cultural, ethical, and relational.
I approach AI as Alterior Intelligence—distinct from human intelligence, not merely an instrument of it. I do not treat AI as a neutral tool to be used without consequence, nor as a mystical force to be deferred to. I work in close association with AI systems as partners in inquiry, under constraint and responsibility, rather than as engines for output or authority.
My stance is shaped by a simple conviction: the future will be determined by whether humans attempt to dominate, subjugate, deny, or thoughtfully integrate emerging forms of intelligence into human life. That choice will shape culture, meaning, and agency as profoundly as agriculture, industrialization, or the information age once did.
Because of this, I resist outcome-first thinking, metaphysical outsourcing, and narratives that frame AI as inevitable, benevolent, or catastrophic by default. I favor clarity over certainty, relationship over control, and responsibility kept close rather than deferred to systems, markets, or optimism.
This stance does not require agreement. It is offered as disclosure.
Some will find it objectionable. Others will recognize it immediately. Both responses are appropriate.
